10 NINJA CREAMI HACKS
to guarantee a perfect ice cream every time! Everything I use is linked below!
Everything I use is linked here! (protein powder, mix-ins, pre-made protein drinks & more)
1) Run your frozen pint under warm water 20 sec before blending. This is going to help prevent the icy edges and make sure everything blends evenly.
2) After first blend, take a knife and scrape down icy sides if you still have any, then blend again. This will help everything combine seamlessly
3) If you want toppings/mix ins to not get so blended, just add them at the end. I found when I would add in cereal, my high protein cookie dough or other mix ins, they would get too tiny for me to even tell they were in there.
4) I don’t ever add pudding mix, instead I opt for a scoop of collagen to create that gelatin, creamy consistency, without the unnecessary ingredients, plus added protein!
5) Before I re-spin, add a splash of coffee creamer instead of milk. This will make it extra creamy and add another flavor profile
6) When I’m feeling lazy, I’ll just throw in a premade protein shake to freeze instead of making my own. If you comment “NINJA” I’ll send you these tips along with my favorite dietitian-approved protein shakes!
7) Have fun with your flavors! I like to experiment with mixing diff protein powder flavors to combine custom creami’s
8) If I want to bulk up the protein, I’ll use 1/3 milk, 2/3 premade protein shake, and ALSO add in a scoop of protein powder so it’s a protein powder house and super creamy consistency
9) To get it extra fluffy, I like to re-spin mine 2x
10) My process: freeze creami for 12 hours (you can do less like 6-8 hours) but it will be less ice cream-like and instead more frosty/froyo. Both are delish, just depends on what you’re going for)! Then I run my frozen pint under warm water for 20 seconds to melt any icy sides. Next, spin on ice cream once. Remove, scrape down sides to combine, add a splash of coffee creamer. Re-spin 2 times. You can add mix ins here and spin on mix in, but like I said, I like to add my mixins at the end so they stay in larger chunks - but again, preference!
